The legend of Portillo's lemon cake dates back many years. It was one of the finest lemon desserts of our time, but was discontinued prematurely and never seen again. People have searched from coast to coast across this great nation for a replacement, but haven't been able to find it's like. I recently learned the recipe still exists and there is a chance for it to be made again.

I call on everyone who enjoys lemony deliciousness to ask Portillo's to bring the cake back and make the world a sweeter place.
