My response to this is simple: The personality of the new characters, which have already been developed by the fans, should be used in the upcoming Pokemon Sword and Shield anime series, with the English dub using British (primarily Scottish) voice actors for the new characters. I believe western fans, particularly those in the UK, will relate to the characters' more attitude-filled personalities and it would shake up the formula for the anime considerably.
