Bring Back Veronica Taylor for Ash in Pokemon I Choose You The Movie!
The Issue
Back when the Pokemon Anime first aired in the US, The Main character of the Series, Ash Ketchum, was voiced by Veronica Taylor: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veronica_Taylor
She was the perfect voice for Ash for the first 8 seasons, until she was replaced by Sarah Natochenny for the remainder of the dubbed anime. Well, I want Taylor to come back, to voice Ash again in the dub version of the upcoming 20 Pokemon Movie: Pokemon I Choose You!

This Pokemon Movie will be based on the very first Pokemon Anime episode ever, Pokemon: I Choose You; the episode that started it all! The first ever Pokemon episode was also the first dub episode where Taylor voiced Ash! The first episode was about Ash starting his Pokemon Journey to become a Pokemon Master, and got his first Pokemon, Pikachu. That episode was very special because that not only it focused on when Ash and Pikachu first meet and begin their journey, but also focused on how they began their bond. The Japanese trailer for the upcoming movie had the very same Japanese lines and scenes from the original episode itself, making this movie very, VERY familiar to the first episode. I thought that having Talyor, the original voice of Ash in the dub, would go back to voicing him in the dub version of the movie, so that it'll become even more familiar to that episode!
Besides, Ash's current voice actress Natochenny did okay in voicing Ash in the dub, but Ash's current voice was nothing like his original one. It just doesn't feel right, not even with the other new voices for the other characters like Brock, Team Rocket, and Meowth (whose original voice actress, Maddie Blaustein, had already died back in 2008). If only that when they work on the English dub of the movie, they would bring back, not just Veronica Taylor, but also all the other original voices (minus Baustein), to voice the original Pokemon characters once again! If we can get all the original voice actors of the 8 original Digidestined (including Josh Seth, who retired from being a VA to be a comedy hypnotist) from the original Digimon series to return for the English dub of Digimon Adventure Tri, then there might be a chance that Veronica would come back to voice Ash in this dub movie!
As the Japanese version of the Movie Pokemon I Choose You gets released, I would only dream and hope that The Pokemon Co. would be able to bring back Veronica Taylor for the Dub voice of Ash Ketchum, so that all of us veteran Pokemon anime fans can breathe back in the classic, old-fashioned feeling of the original Pokemon series, the very series that started everything, the series that made us who we are today! I hope that the Pokemon Company, as well as its English dub crew, would appreciate my request- NO. The request of ALL of us Pokemon Anime fans!
