Masters Eight Revealed for World Coronation Series

Hey Everyone,

My apologies for not posting in a while, but I now have some news about the Masters Eight in the World Coronation Series.

Apart from Leon being ranked #1, Ash is ranked #8. The other six trainers revealed to be in the Masters Eight are:

• Iris (#7)
• Alain (#6)
• Diantha (#5)
• Lance (#4)
• Steven (#3)
• Cynthia (#2)

For the quarterfinals, the matchups revealed are:

• Ash vs. Steven
• Leon vs. Alain
• Lance vs. Diantha
• Cynthia vs. Iris

With all this news, Pokémon Journeys seems to be wrapping up soon. Before Ash heads to the new region for Scarlet and Violet, hopefully he will have a chance to compete in the Galar Pokémon League. I have a hunch this might happen because there are times that Ash would do extra things before heading to a new region after competing in the previous region's Pokémon League.

Here are some examples.

• After competing in the Indigo League, Ash travels to the Orange Islands before heading to Johto.
• After competing in the Hoenn League, he competes in the Battle Frontier before heading to Sinnoh.
• After competing in the Unova League, he travels to the Decolore Islands before heading to Kalos.
