THIS IS AN INTERNATIONAL CALL TO HELP BRITAIN'S HULL LOCALS  STOP  B&K UNIVERSAL'S PLANS TO BREED AROUND 2,000 BEAGLE DOGS ANNUALLY - AS WELL AS OTHER ANIMALS, SUCH AS GUINEA PIGS AND FERRETS - FOR VIVISECTION EXPERIMENTS

Every time you sign this petition your letter will arrive at the head office for the Planning Inspectorate who will decide the fate of 2,000 innocent purpose-bred Beagles, and other animals such as ferrets, guinea pigs and mice, born to be experimented on in traumatic and painful procedures which are NOT able to predict the responses of human patients, nor save human lives. These animals will be killed at the end of the experiments.

LEADING MEDICAL EXPERTS SAY - "ANIMAL EXPERIMENTS FAIL HUMAN PATIENTS"

Distinct from the clear moral objection to such appalling animal cruelty, this local campaign is additionally represented by the science-based Parliamentary initiative For Life On Earth, evidence illustrated by the world's leading medical experts against such animal experiments: Americans and Europeans for Medical Advancement (AFMA/EFMA).These expert scientists have proved that trying to apply the results of animal experiments to human patients FAILS humans, and causes great harm to the effective progress of finding new treatments to save people's lives. Our campaign is supported by many public figures including acclaimed National Theatre actor and Downton Abbey star Peter Egan, human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell and Ricky Gervais. The flagship campaign which illustrates our scientific evidence, For Life On Earth, is supported by the great concert pianist John Lill CBE; the long established Beagle Association and acclaimed primatologist and TV wildlife presenter Charlotte Uhlenbroek PhD. Prior to the recent General Election, eighty-three MPs signed Parliamentary EDMs 22 and 263 calling for properly moderated, public scientific debates with the medical experts who illustrate our evidence. These debate hearings are now being called for at a European level, and have conditions endorsed by Britain's foremost human rights defence barrister Michael Mansfield QC.
