I grew up with this zoo and after going recently and doing some research I am appalled and heartbroken at the lack of good living conditions and space provided for a number of species there, Namely the Orangutans and Elephants, the Zoo was named worst for elephants in the country in 2020. What makes it even worse is that the zoo loves to put on an image of being one of the good, conservation oriented zoos.
