There are dogs all over Maryland that are forced to be outside in 30 degree weather, in snow and in rain because their owners don’t care. They leave them outside crying and barking all day and all night without a toy or anything to make them feel warm or at least not alone. It is time to stand up for the animals who don’t have a voice and get them the warmth and shelter that they deserve. They didn’t ask to come into your life but when they do, the least you can do is treat them like family and not like they’re plants. Dogs have feelings too…how would you feel if you were kept outside in the cold with a t-shirt and shorts on because that’s the equivalent to leaving a short haired dog outside with no blanket, no jacket, nothing to keep them warm or make them feel loved. It doesn’t matter how many times you call animal control on them, that dog will continue to suffer because the law states as long as they have a dog house (weather in use by the dog or not) and bowls (weather empty 24/7 or not) outside they’re allowed to be out there, cold and alone. Stop dehumanizing animals because they have no voice to speak on what they feel, they feel too!!! LETS DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!! Before any more dogs suffer another cold, lonely night.
