Over the last 8 years, Texans have bore witness to one of the worst United States Senators in US history, and it has only become worst in the last year. In the last year, Ted Cruz has worked to overthrow our democracy, abandoned Texans in the midst of one of the worst natural disasters in years, and provided fuel for the anti-vaccine community to continue spreading the COVID-19 virus. The time is now to end his reign of terror.

Good thing is there is an alternative. Ever since Ted Cruz attacked Big Bird for receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, overwhelming support has come to Big Bird's side. Folks from all paths of life, all political parties, and all backgrounds in general have come to support Big Bird, and that is why today, I am writing a petition to draft and elect Big Bird to the United States Senate. I fully believe Big Bird will lead with integrity, empathy and with a deep commitment to the values Texas holds dearest. Big Bird will also lead by example by listening to scientists, working with folks on both sides of the aisle to solve problems for Texans, and will inspire many young individuals to not only tweet, but vote in elections.

I am confident this movement will succeed, and I am confident Big Bird will ultimately return Texas' Senate seat back to honor and glory.
