To change the attitude of the South African Government Towards COVID 19.

To change the attitude of the South African Government Towards COVID 19.
The Issue
Noting that
* Our government is hesitant and indecisive to take necessary aggressive measures to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, such as closing borders and banning all international traveling in and out of South Africa
* President Ramaphosa is meeting the cabinet on the 15th March 2020
We set out to Rally South Africans and all those living in South Africa to:
* Recognizing that majority of South Africans are unaware of the exponential spread of this virus and the fatal character of it, share information with the aim to make conscious the unconscious
* Pressure our government to close our borders and ban all international traveling
* Upon banning international or domestic traveling, those people who would have already bought tickets be guaranteed full refund
* Force the government to impose closure of all schools (public and independent) university and college campuses
* Force government to provide free satellite testing stations in all communities
* Force government to provide masks, medical items (such as hand sanitizers) and medical staff for free and in sufficient quantities
* Compel the government to supply food to every person in South Africa to enable everyone to self-isolate
* For self-isolation in the preventative stage, release workers from workplaces on full pay, and only allow workers on essential services.
* Those in essential services should be employed under guaranteed maximum safety measures and proper pay
* Protection of shelter in terms of rental and mortgage payments in case of self-isolation
* All public spaces must be regularly sanitized. Taxi ranks, bus stops, train stations and airports must be regularly sanitized.
* Doors, door handles, stair rails, lifts and lift buttons must be regularly sanitized by building owners, by decree of government.
* All ATMs must be sanitized at regular intervals throughout the day by the banks that own them.
* Bank tellers and till operators must be issued with masks and gloves.
* All electronic paypoints must be sanitized at regular intervals throughout the day. Paypoints must have alcohol based hand sanitizers.
* Physical distance must be maintained between people in public spaces
