So as most of you already know I have been in a "respected care home" for the beginning of my life in NL, for years as a 10-11 year old kid in a grouphome i have waited and dreamed of the day that i turned 16 and could emancipate myself from my continuous custody order, to find out that exactly a month before my 16th birthday they change the law to emancipate yourself from 16 to 18. This was very devastating to me and the only thing i've gotten left, which is a wonderful girl i met in grade 9, as i spent my last 4-5 years dreaming and praying that one day i get to live with my father.

The social worker/case workers that have claimed to help me, has failed, infact has made my life turn for the worst from being charged and looked at like a helpless youth, because they dont know how to diffuse a young person when they get escalated, all they know and understand is voilence, you need help they dont listen to you until you drop something by accident or accidently say the wrong thing and then you have their full attention as they call the rnc "shaking with fright" i am looking for support to make my life fufilled with what a child who has not been in care has had any sign ups are welcome thank you for listening!
