As Minorities we must be able to support other minorities and practice allyship especially in times like these. We must be able to stand for George Floyd as well as the countless lives that have been taken away for no reason. We cannot stay quiet and ignore that all of this is happening especially to our fellow minorities. The same way that Latinx folks have gone through many things, we know what it’s like so if we know then we should support others while we can. It’s time to show that no matter our socioeconomic status or if we are looked at as minorities we still have a voice to make a change in a society where our people are being treated poorly. There are people being killed for protesting and this is in no way acceptable, we cannot let this keep happening to the hardworking people.
