"Gods of Egypt" to be released Spring of 2016 is a American film featuring Egyptian deities with a predominantly white cast. For years, Caucasian people have been cast to play the roles of Egyptians in which usually was accepted with little to no outrage in view of the fact there was an unintentional lack of consciousness. But we are now in the age of knowing with available means of information and overwhelming evidence indicating that Egyptians were people of color. We cannot allow Hollywood to sustain denial of African people's role in humankind's first and greatest civilization in Ancient Egypt.

 This sort of issue negatively impacts the black person's state of mind. It is time to dismantle Hollywood's 'whitewashing history' tactics which is inculcating falsities. It is not only an insult but blatant disrespect. We have to reclaim our history. Do not be blinded.

Please do not support a film that erases us from such beautiful history. If we can get a substantial amount of signatures, we can maybe thwart the movie from being released or at least make it a huge flop in the box office. #BoycottGodsofEgyptMovie #KnowThySelf #ReclaimingMyHistory
