The Issue

I am writing on behalf of residents regarding the ongoing and increasingly difficult parking situation at the property.

I have lived here for over two years, and during that time, the parking situation has continued to worsen. Residents are paying $1,400+ per month in rent, in addition to being required to pay for parking, yet there are still insufficient options for accommodating visitors.

The lack of visitor parking has created a significant inconvenience for residents. I should be able to have friends and family visit my home without having to worry about where they can park, whether they will be towed, or whether I will have to go through an unnecessarily difficult process to obtain temporary authorization. When I previously had a rental vehicle, I had to repeatedly push just to obtain the necessary documentation from the management office.

We are requesting that management address this issue by implementing one or both of the following solutions:

Increase the number of designated visitor parking spaces to better accommodate residents and their guests.
Implement a convenient visitor-pass system that allows residents to register guests for a designated period without an unreasonable administrative burden.
If a visitor-pass system requires a fee, I would be willing to pay up to $10 per night for a day/overnight visitor pass. However, residents should reasonably be able to have friends and family visit without having to pay an additional fee or worry that their guests will be towed.

We are asking management to seriously consider this request and provide a practical solution to the ongoing visitor-parking shortage. The current situation is not sustainable for residents, particularly given the monthly cost of living here and the additional fees already required for parking.
