This petition is presented on behalf of Edina Oestreicher, Vice President of Student Affairs. On June 6th 2019 it was brought to the attention of the Student Body that one of our greatest advocates had been terminated. This was given to us under the guise of bettering the Student experience, while it’s been said that the restructuring of the Division of Student Affairs is about improvement for students, the termination of Edina Oestreicher is one of the worst decisions that could have been made. They have done students a tremendous disservice by letting go of one of their biggest advocates and strongest allies. We the students of the University of Bridgeport will not rest until she is rightfully instated.
