Save Our Tappan Zee has been collecting donations over the last 3 years from folks like you.  We didn't know what to do with the money, so we just kept it sitting in our bank account.  We've been waiting for a good opportunity to use it.

Well, today, we decided what to do with it!

We have applied it all to change.org ads in order to further promote the petition.

This $1,537.00 is the entire bank account balance for the company (minus $.87 that we were not able to apply to the promotion).  Change says that it will now promote our petition another 38,425 times.  We are just shy of 150,000 signatures.  I don't know if this will get us to 150K, 155K or 160K, but whatever it does, it's an improvement, and getting us closer and closer to reaching our goal.

MOVING FORWARD: WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT DONATE TO SAVE OUR TAPPAN ZEE ANYMORE, and instead, please do as we have done, and promote this petition directly!

FINAL NOTE: I have been in touch with a lawmaker who says a new Tappan Zee bridge bill was just submitted to the assembly here in NY.  I have not been given permission to go public with it yet, but as soon as I have more information, we will let you know.
