Greetings!
Today I’m in DC at my father’s full honors military burial at Arlington National Cemetery. My mom and I also visited the National Archives, and I saw the original Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights.
It occured to me that what these documents represent is the antithesis of the corruption, arrogance, and disdain for the people that Andrew Cuomo displayed in his renaming of the bridge.
I also remembered that it was incredibly brave and courageous for the “little people” (our founders) to confront the King and dare to disagree, and indeed, fight what they knew was right.
When I return to New York, our fight must go on. We must not stop until we are victorious. We will do what it takes. For how long it takes. We must not allow Cuomo to believe he is a King, reigning over a populace who doesn’t care about corruption and “nepotism” (and all paid for at public expense and at the expense of history). People DO care. I care. You care. And we are not waving our white flag.
Are you with me? We at SOTZ are putting together a comprehensive 2019 plan to ensure this disgusting display of disregard for the people does not go unpunished. And we will hold every senator and assemblyman responsible as well.
Onward!!!
