Are the Labor Party shoring up its Green Votes for the upcoming elections? It is now apparent that Labor cannot hold any level of government without the support of the greens. Why else would a party that was supposedly there to stand up for the worker advocate for the eradication and death of the brumby that has historically built our nation, fought our wars and has become such an important part of our heritage? I encourage all of you to visit the Snowy Mountains and if you’re lucky enough you may see a brumby. These Politicians that make false accusations against the Brumby are ill informed. We constantly here of the “science” that supports their claims, but not one of them can provide this so called science. The best they can provide is predetermined, prepaid, agenda driven science fiction put together by a group of academics that are commissioned to provide a report for the very same people that pay for their wages and their tax payer funded junkets to the snowy Mountains. We never hear them talking about the many ski fields, resorts, or the mountain bike tracks built by the National Parks or the man made infernos due to decades of neglect by the very same people that have denied the mountains of cool fire burning and grazing. Are our National Parks being managed for all? or only for the egotistical elite in our society that have very little faith in nature to take care of itself as it as done for billions of years and are more concerned about wiping out the one last remnant of our wonderful history in the mountains. They believe that if they remove the brumby, the mountain horseman will also leave. Well after 180 years the mountain horseman are there to stay, unlike the fly in fly out politicians that sadly only represent the minority in our society today.
