A not often discussed and often overlooked part of the history of the Snowy Mountains is that of the traditional owners, the Ngarigo and Djiringanj people and their connection with the brumby. This article is a very interesting and informative read. Any future Management plans for the Kosciuszko National Park must take into consideration the traditional owners views and their connection with the Snowy Mountains and our beloved brumby.
