In the times when the world we are living in is more divided than ever, the dramatic search and rescue mission undertaken at the Tham Luang caves in the north of Thailand has once again shown the potential that when people come together, any situation, no matter how tough or critical, irrespective of their race, colour, nationality, the unachievable can be achieved.
From the diving experts who flew in from around the world and gruellingly dived for hours to get each trapped kid to safety, to the retired Thai Navy Seal who lost his life placing extra air tanks in the cave, to the parents of the trapped kids who wrote to the coach asking him not to blame himself for this situation and to the residents of Chiang Rai, the volunteers, the doctors from Thailand and multiple countries, this episode has shown that if we forget our differences it is possible to work together in a constructive way towards a common goal.
