Many people around the world have seen Laura Ingraham's comments about black athletes and the role they should play in politics. "Shut up and dribble" a comment, which itself along with her public statements against Colin Kaepernick and his right to kneel should cost Ingraham her job. Recently she spoke out on how Drew Brees stance against kneeling for the national anthem deserves to be heard. This is a double standard that America must vehemently reject. Laura Ingraham’s racist rhetoric has been detrimental to black athletes, the black community as well as the country. FOX is a company that benefits greatly from its television deal with the NFL. The NFL claim to stand with their players during this tough time but the past has shown a much different narrative. If the NFL is serious about wanting justice for its players they should tell Fox they will pull their games and not seek any further business with them if they don’t fire Laura Ingraham. Her harm on the black community must come to an end.
