Change the name of the Washington Redskins to the Washington Americans

El problema

The Boston Braves were founded in 1932. They changed their name to the Redskins in 1933 and relocated to Washington DC in 1937. As of 2010, 115 formal complaints had been lodged, and in 2014 the US Patent Office canceled their trademark. This is the easiest, most obvious fix of all time. Just call them the Americans. As opposed to using a racial slur which denigrates the indigenous people of this country, show them the modicum of respect that would come with associating their icononography with the standard demonym of the United States. It would fit right in with the MLB team the Nationals and the NHL team the Capitals.
