North Carolina is the only state in the south that hasn't passed a constitutional ban on gay marriage. It would be a disgrace to all North Carolinians after New York just passed marriage equality. And the amendment has language that also bans civil unions and domestic partnerships. Adults are not the only ones that would suffer. This would tell GLBTQ teenagers and kids that they dont matter.
