For countless years, The Natural Confectionary Company (TNCC) has blessed the lives of many Australians providing quality products for everyone to enjoy. Many lollies will come to mind when TNCC is mentioned; their party mix, their sour squirms, their snakes but most important of all - their fruity chews. Fruity Chews are known not only for their fantastic flavours but also for the memorable experience they provide. The wrapper itself was apart of the experience. The wrapper used to contain questions that would spark lively conversation between one another - it was apart of the enjoyment process. To my, and a lot of people’s dismay, TNCC has updated its packaging to include “Did you know?” facts instead of the questions. These factoids, although interesting, do not allow for the same level of discussion amongst groups of peers to be made. The wider community will benefit from the change as the consumption of these goods will inevitably bring people together through topical conversation. The change seems small and insignificant at first but it is important to realise that it is the small changes in the world that lead to big things.
