If all lives matter, then why the backlash? Better policing practices benefit everyone!

We've hit a milestone! 53 people have stood for justice in the last few days! The more we discuss, share, and sign this petition the more chances we have to raise our voices and stand for what is just and good in this world. Many people outside of the community do not realize just how fragmented the black community actually is, and they insist on describing us as a monolithic group; however We decide who is black enough to speak for us, and who is black enough to be a good representation of our collective experience. Truth be told, identity politics in the current context, should not be taken back to the days of willie lynch when we are in the pursuit of justice. The system of inequality is so deeply entrenched that any and all allies are good allies. We cannot fight against centuries of oppression and inequality without each other. Black, white, Asian, south Asian, Hispanic, Latin and aboriginal populations are all in this together! When Mississippi burned, three men died brutally because of their belief in equality and justice. They were not all of the same race, but their joint values made them decide to lay their lives down for each other and people they didn't even know in hopes of a better future, a better existence. Moreover, this talk of who is black enough or capable to speak out is absurd. equality and justice has always been a messy struggle because no one ever wants to get punished or die horribly. Why add an extra layer of identity politics to an already exacerbated situation? "Free your minds and the rest will follow" ?Indeed En vogue! Have we lost our humanity so much so that a call to justice is met with "his father is a coon for dating a white woman, he's not black enough" or "he should be lucky that he was given the opportunity (as a black guy) to make as much money as he does ...he's not a patriot for bringing attention to a social problem that affects all of us, he's unAmerican." I thought the whole point of life was to become better people so that we can in turn make the world better? So what is the real backlash about? A question that I'm so deeply curious about. If all lives matter than prove it; Collin K. Took a knee because all lives matter and police brutality is an issue that is a lot easier to rectify than you think. Proper training, funding, and support for police officers and community can make the difference in the greater society. Better policing practices proves that all lives matter, including the blue ones. We've hit a milestone folks! Steadily approaching 100 concerned citizens who care about the direction our society is going in; it starts with us! Only we the people, despite race, have the power to dismantle systems that do not serve the people in its entirety. Let us work towards a better future by amplifying a call to justice and a courageous sacrifice with our own voices. Just because a handful of hateful people have big platforms to amplify their hate, doesn't mean that, that hatred is shared by the grander whole, let us prove it with this petition ! We ask the NFL to rethink its treatment of its athlete Collin K. And his call for social justice.
