More than 1.4 Million Women are Impacted by Domestic Violence Annually.  

Mr. Goodell in the wake of your recent admission of full responsibilty and ensuring that The National Football League takes a strong stand against Domestic Violence we would like to thank you for publicly acknowleding this national safety crisis.  

Although this is a powerful first step in the right direction, there is so much more the NFL can do to raise National Awareness and Prevention against Donestic Violence.  Mr. Goodell you have said the NFL must take steps to end the impact of violence against women and your organization and one of the most needed issues is Awareness and Education. 

We are asking you to stay true to you word to take action towards ending violence against women in the NFL by bringing the color PURPLE (Domestic Violence Color) to the football field during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  By having ALL teams wear purple items on the field during Octobers Domestic Violence Month it further shows your support for the new policy on DV.. 

The Purple football player items should include socks ribbons, painting on the field, wrist bands, similar items which have been displayed during Breast Cancer awareness month during the NFL games.

Domestic Violence Awareness and Purple Athletic Gear should be represented during October in recgnition of the National Football League's position of violence against Women.
