The author of the James Bond book series, Ian Fleming, made a point of having Bond drink a martini. Now the powers that be want to make a different kind of money and signed a marketing ploy, making Heineken his drink. This is not new, since the franchise has produced-placed more and more. When they changed Bond's car from an Aston Martin to the BMW, it almost caused me to boycott the movies. However, this goes too far. Not merely a slogan, or cultural icon, "Shaken, not stirred" deserves its place with its literary identity. I don't know anything about the legal ramifications, but feel it is against the rules.

Please sign this petition before they finish the movie. And if this doesn't work, or they make the movie anyway with James Bond drinking a Heineken, then please do not pay for a ticket. This is about business, right? This may be the only language they understand.
