Who is this “You Laugh, You Lose”?

You Laugh, You Lose (or YLYL for short) is a type of thread on the image board website 4chan which does what it says on the tin: somebody starts a YLYL thread, and people post funny pictures and if you laugh, you lose.

What’s the problem?

SPAMMERS! Usually bots that post purposely unfunny images (such as bannana, modern art, grandma porn, rage comics, ETC.) to derail the thread and fill it with shit that you have to trudge through to get anything funny!
