Petition updateThe MMTLP Scandal: A Call for Accountability & ReformUnited for Change: From 180 Signatures to a Movement They Can’t Ignore

Thank you to everyone who has supported our open letter campaign so far! In just the first day, we’ve had an incredible 180 people sign from around the world—an inspiring start to this important movement. Our goal is to reach 1,209 signatures, and we welcome every single voice that joins us before the close of business on January 31, 2025. Together, we’re showing that change is not just possible—it’s happening. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue building a stronger, more united community.

This morning, John Brda, a former corporate officer of the stock in question, briefly endorsed the campaign in a post. However, he later retracted his endorsement after realizing that he and other corporate officers were mentioned in the document. While it’s always important to read the full context of such a document, I appreciate the attention and consideration John initially gave to this campaign.

The open letter does reference John, another corporate leader, and Next Bridge Hydrocarbons, but it was never intended as an attack or insult. Instead, it is a call to action—an invitation for those with influence, resources, and experience, like John, to step up and help resolve this issue. After two years, these leaders have failed to negotiate a resolution, but are still in the best position to join forces, work collaboratively, and succeed with others. This isn’t about assigning blame but about inspiring a team effort to do better for everyone involved.

Unfortunately, following John’s retraction, I received approximately 40 disparaging messages accusing the campaign of attacking the company and disregarding 95% of the letter’s content. On Twitter, some discouraged others from signing, suggesting things like "read all of it" or "don’t give up your personal information," which implied that the petition might be a trap or misuse data. While people are free to disagree and choose not to sign, such accusations are unwarranted and disrespectful. Considering my background as a decorated military professional, these claims are unfounded and maliciously misinformed. My professional account was flooded with rude comments and dishonest conversations, which only detract from the true purpose of this campaign.

Thankfully, I don't scare so easily.

That being said, this campaign is not just for the MMTLP "community." Everyone with investments or pensions is connected to Wall Street. Calling on our elected representatives to hold the SEC accountable affects us all. It’s about fairness, transparency, and ensuring these institutions know we’re watching—and that we’ll return to demand more accountability. If you can vote, you have a stake in this fight. Join us and be part of the change.

I look forward to providing daily updates as we progress through this process and start sending our message to Capitol Hill, as well as our state capitals. I’m counting on you to spread the message and make it clear that they cannot ignore us.

To the first cohort of 180 signatures today, thank you for trusting my reputation and believing in my message. I know you will help spread the word, and day by day, our numbers will grow—despite any 'dark forces' that may have ulterior motives. Together, we will make a difference. Let’s keep moving forward!
