For too long the North Devon Link Road has been blighted by serious and even fatal accidents caused by the fact that there are few opportunities for overtaking.

A package of measures are in place to make the road safer, but no official timetable exists for the works and a lengthy Government preferred scheme process still has to be gone through.

We want the Department of Transport to get on with the works without delay, and publish a timetable that would give Devon residents and visitors to the county confidence that the works will be undertaken.
