Due to allegations brought about by eye witnesses it has come to our attention that when marking english literature papers in the Kandy paper marking center, a panel of 5 markers did not have the necessary qualifications needed to mark an English Literature paper, nor did they have a thorough understanding of the texts that the students were asked to study, resulting in most students getting below average results for English Literature. It is to be noted that many of these students has lost opportunities of obtaining scholarships for universities local and foreign due to the poor results they have recieved due to unjust paper marking. 

It is the right of every student to have their papers marked fairly and justly thus we urge everyone to sign this petition demanding a fair recorrection of the  English Literature answer scripts of  the A/L  examination 2018
