Today (Tuesday October 4th) AMCHAM (The American Chamber of Commerce) called out the government of T&T publicly and roasted them over the lack of consultation on the proposed 7% online tax. More, they warn the government that the proposed estimated benefits to the economy will be far outweighed by negative fall out to businesses and employees if it goes forward. AMCHAM is yet another voice calling on the government to repeal this badly thought out initiative.
