To whom it may concern:

We, the undersigned request that the City of Dallas fund the creation of facilities for the creation of The Mexican American Museum of Texas for the following reasons:

1. Currently there does not exist a museum devoted to Mexican Americans and ethnic Mexicans in Texas.
2. The Mexican American Museum of Texas through its exhibits, programing and creation of educational materials would help support K-12 education for Texas.
3. The creation of the museum would enhance the City of Dallas's current cultural heritage sites and further strengthen its attractiveness for tourism.

Thank you for your consideration.
