Among an inordinate amount of health options on the menu at Metuchen High School over the past few years, there was one desert option that stood out; the school's cookies were amazing, the perfect combination of soft and chewy. But, since the beginning of this year, the school (or possibly Michelle Obama) has replaced them with mediocre, thick ,and chewy whole wheat cookies that just aren't the same. Before this replacement every day hundreds of cookies were sold, bringing in a surpising amount of money for the school, but as of lately the line for the snack bar is empty. There is a very low obesity rate in our school and they were the highlight of the school's cafeteria. In short, you can take our Snapple and whole fat chocolate milk, but you can't take our COOKIES!
