Ban Image Macros from the Internet

Ban Image Macros from the Internet
The Issue
"Why should we ban image macros?" you ask, a bit offended by this proposal, "they're funny and make our lives less of a neverending spiral of agony. Look at this funny baby!" Well bear with me, because this is going to be a long, awful ride.
According to Know Your Meme, a website dedicated to record meme-related activity, has stated that the first example of an image macro was this. Made by American photographer Harry Whitter Frees in 1905, this marked the start of the image macro.
Then, exactly 100 years later in 2005, the dark, dark bowels of the internet (known as 4chan) started to post various photos of cats asking whether or not they can indulge in the act of eating a cheeseburger (this was 4chan, so they had to use screenshots of cats from their favorite anime due to not ever going outside and seeing a real cat).
Now, 2005 was a dry place for memes. There was only putting the word "fail" or "win" on various images, and rage comics would not pop up until 2008, which was three years later. Now, with effectively only 2 different memes back then, of course they were used way more than they ever should have, and over 10 years later we all let out a collective groan when we see that iconic, yet despised, meme font plastered on an image
Now, there's also a subtype of image macros referred to as "Advice Animals." Confession Bear, Insanity Wolf, Bad Luck Brian, and more are all examples of Advice Animals. Although only a small portion (30-40%) of image macros are Advice Animals, they are much, much more painful to look at (i.e: The Undertale Community is kinda bad, but then when you look closer to the ones that like Asgore a bit too much, then you kinda want to die).
Why do I want these things banned? Well, they've been heavily overused until no one cares for them anymore. For example, why do you think people love Cave Story, but grumble when they see Undertale? Well, Undertale's been overexposed to people. Maybe someone actually liked the game, but seeing the news, and forums, and the like being crowded with pictures of certain goat people, they got tired of it really quickly and their mild enjoyment of a thing turned into salty hate.
I don't think anyone should suffer anymore from these Image Macros. Us cool kids are too busy listening to vaporwave and looking at the surrealist memes with the head asking the dude how many layers of irony he's on to deal with those disgusting, waste of meme space that is image macros.
