My friend Deavery Lyons has been wrongfully convicted and has been serving prison time in Trumbull County. The State did not have the proper evidence to convict him, the doctor and nurse testified on his behalf saying the girl have not been raped they said she was a virgin but yet he has been charged with rape. The girl who claimed rape at the time of the incident was a virgin, so how is it rape. Where’s the justice in this for Deavery? He has served the last 18 years in prison for a crime that he did not commit. He has been away from his family way way too long and he’s still sane let’s try to help Mr Lyons, before it’s too late. Mr Lyons mom is getting older she would love to be with her son again to hug him, kiss him, and to just have him around again. Deavery has lost two of his children sense being incarcerated. Where is the justice in this? He’s not the only innocent man in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Let’s try to bring some of them home.
