February this year I travelled to Taiji with children from Phuket to monitor The Cove. The children got involved because a dolphinarium has been built in Phuket, and its to have 5 Taiji caught dolphins in it. They were outraged by both the idea of a dolphinarium, and also that these dolphins came from the drive hunts you support and take part in. They wanted to reach out to you to end this. They are the future, the children. Every child we talk to, once informed about what happens at the cove, and about the cruelty of captivity, NEVER wants to go to a dolphin show again.

We once again hear that this dolphinarium is opening in Phuket, Thailand, where we live. We are desperate to prevent this, and are reaching out to you again, to humbly ask you to stop. You know dolphins are smart. You must receive thousands of letters every month. These are kids, kids with a mission and big hearts. Listen to them and stop and think. The future is anti captivity, and you must know by now this dolphin meat you sell is toxic and dangerous to all who consume it. We look forward to seeing the end of this one day soon! Phuket says no to a dolphinarium and opposes the drive hunts practiced in Japanese waters and other countries too. We love Japan, and present this petition with respect and hope.
