Hi all, we wanted to update you on the latest developments in our legal case. We are very pleased that the new Mayor has made a number of public statements about his desire to settle the legal case brought by LB Tower Hamlets against Rich Mix. In order to do this there will need to be some formal processes within the Council to ensure that they have met all their proper procedures. However, the good news is that the Council agreed to support our application to the High Court to postpone the formal three day hearing which was scheduled for 20 July. This means that we now have more time to try to reach a negotiated settlement, saving both sides the risk of spending money on barristers and using up lots of internal staff time. We will keep you posted.
