We wanted to update the many people who have already been in touch with us to ask how the outcome of yesterday's LBTH mayoral election might affect our continuing dispute with the Council. We have been very encouraged by some of the discussions that we had with a number of candidates in the run-up to the election, including the newly elected Mayor John Biggs. We are seeking an urgent meeting with him and the relevant officers and commissioners in the hope that we can find a way to settle, which will allow Rich Mix to to continue to do the work that over 16,000 of you have told us they value. Clearly there will be many things on Mayor Biggs desk which he will need to sort out, but we are hopeful that this may prove to be a way to finding a sensible settlement to what has been a long and debilitating dispute. Please do continue your support of our cause. You can do this by: *Share the petition with your friends and networks *Tweet why #RichMixMatters to you *Donate to help support the projection - if you could commit a donation of up to £5 it would help us meet these costs. You can do this in the Rich Mix Matters fund here. We will keep you posted about our progress and if you have any other suggestions for us, we would love to hear from you - please do email me at jane.earl@richmix.org.uk.
