This petition was started in 2019, when the Oceandiva first attempted to come to the Thames. The Oceandiva's application for a bespoke pier at Swan Lane was unanimously rejected by the City of London's Planning Committee in 2020.
However, the Oceandiva consortium has now purchased old piers: Butler's Wharf and West India Pier. It is again seeking to bring its 'concept' to London, this time with a new-build hybrid vessel and claims to be 100 % carbon neutral.
On its first test-run on the Thames, it struck a stationary vessel.
We continue to believe that the Oceandiva is the wrong ship for London and its river.

Meanwhile, some people have reported problems with signing this petition. Change-org says that it is looking into the problems but cannot give a time-frame for resolving them.
