Classic Space, with its builds and simple yet adorable minifigures are easily the most recognizable things in LEGO's history.  Adored by many during its initial run through the 80's and into the 90's, with its many ships, buggies, rovers, walkers, robots, and more.

With the recent release of set number 70841, or "Benny's Space Squad", we see the return of the classic space helmet mold, along with the classic character prints, and recognizable builds that seem like they were pulled straight from the 80's!  Combined with this we saw the classic space man in a new, pink variant with the character of Lenny.  This breathed some new life into this already very special and amazing set.

So this got me thinking.

With the IMMENSE popularity of this set, and peoples' love for the retro, why not have LEGO bring back this classic theme!

With them already remaking classic sets at the moment, ala Ninjago Legacy and the 20th anniversary of Star Wars, I think this shouldn't be too far out of the blue.

They would be nice updated builds of classic ships, maybe with new parts and weapons.  But still having the sweet simplicity and figures of the original to keep its heart and originality.

As someone who has grown up on LEGO and loved it all my life, this would mean the absolute world to me.  

I hope this reaches well, and explore the galaxy well friends, let's make this happen.
