As proud Calgarians and hockey fans, we pay tribute to the Saddledome, a beloved and iconic facility that served as the home of the Calgary Flames for over 30 years. The Saddledome was more than just an arena; it was a symbol of the passion and dedication of the Flames' loyal fan base and a testament to the city of Calgary's love of hockey. Its unique saddle-shaped roof and stunning views of the Rocky Mountains made it one of the most recognizable and cherished arenas in all of sports.

As we say goodbye to the Saddledome, we also look forward to the future with excitement and anticipation. We support the proposal to build the new arena the Hattledome, in honor of one of the greatest fashion statements in Calgary  history, the Cowboy Hat. The Hattledome would be a fitting tribute to Cowboys and their contributions to Calgary culture, serving as a constant reminder of the passion, commitment, and hard work that it takes to achieve greatness. It would also represent progress, growth, and evolution for the Flames organization and the city of Calgary.

We will forever cherish the memories and experiences we had at the Saddledome, but we also welcome the new chapter that the Hattledome represents. We look forward to the future of the Flames organization and the city of Calgary with hope, enthusiasm, and a deep appreciation for the past.
