My one year old lab/boxer mixed family dog, Merlin, was assaulted with a taser by law enforcement while connected to a yard lead in my own back yard! As a result of the attack, Merlin's eyeball sustained a severe laceration and now has permanent vision loss in that eye. Merlin is not a vicious undomesticated dog! He is a loving member of our family! Another result of the incident; my three children are now afraid of law enforcement.
