We have now gone past the 30K mark and will keep the petition open until representatives from Friends of Ulu Muda can meet up with the newly elected State Government of Kedah to hand over our petition. In the meantime, we would greatly appreciate it if you could also sign another petition set up by SCB Malaysia calling for the Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment to be retained and strengthened within the Malaysian Cabinet. This is a key ministry without which our hope of seeing Ulu Muda effectively protected and management may be compromised.
