The Judicial System of #Pakistan: Grant Murad Amir Shah Justice #stopacidattacks

To Set A Precedent And Eradicate Acid Violence In Pakistan

Grant Murad Amir Shah Justice

By mobilizing a public opinion, Murad and I wish not only to gain support for our endeavor to obtain justice, but also to promote the need for better implementation of existing laws. We sincerely hope to achieve eradication of Acid Violence from Pakistan.
Murad and I are in the process of trying to attain justice. We have to face its lags every day-the process is slow and inadequate. The law needs proper implementation along with further legislation to fully tackle the issue of Acid Violence. Murad is not alone, nor is he the only survivor. Given our comfortable and educated background we were able to get Murad the right medical attention and legal counsel. But have you thought about all the other survivors out there who are still struggling? All the men, children and especially women? They have no access to either medical or legal support. Their voices are suppressed. We must stand united towards the protection of basic human rights in our country. We must raise our voices to obtain justice for all survivors, especially the women who are left voiceless. In ensuring Murad gets justice, we are infact setting a precedent for all violators of Human Rights and ensuring that the social justice system thrives.

Grant Murad Amir Shah Justice
Murad Amir Shah was made victim to an Acid Attack on January 23rd, 2013.Despite repeated attempts to ensure the support of our legal system towards a fair trial, we feel violated by the liniency shown to Murad's attackers.
Murad and I wish not only to gain support for our endeavor to obtain justice, but also to promote the need for better implementation of existing laws. We sincerely hope to achieve eradication of Acid Violence from Pakistan.

The main accused in the case of Mr. Murad Amir Shah, Case FIR No:33 under Section 324/34, P.P.C, by the Golra Sharif Police Station Islamabad, Ms. Samar Pervez, must be convicted with the harshest of punishment without regard to gender. It is ironic that she has been granted bail based on a humanitarian bill protecting womens' rights, when she has committed an offence against humanity. She should not be permitted to buy her way out of punishment-Her police confession should be accepted as submissable evidence in court. Not only should Ms. Samar Pervez's bailed be revoked she should, also be framed with additional charges of exploitation of two members of a minority group, belonging to a low income and low literacy strata-She used her better economic position to lure two poor Christian boys into executing this crime that she masterminded. Ms. Samar Pervez has also further expolited the economic position of one of these boys by paying him into silence and taking back the earlier statement that he made directly nominating her as the main accused and planner of this henious violation of humanity.Justice must prevail to restore the Pakistani citizens' faith in the judicial system.
