We ask that the City of Charleston halt all residential permitting for two years on Johns Island, allowing time to improve our roads and intersections. Development is outpacing infrastructure improvements, and the traffic jams this has created is greatly reducing our quality of life. Furthermore, we fear for our safety in the event of an evacuation.
