Make Muppets leave Disney & return to Henson. And the Henson's need apologize to Steve.

The Issue

Disney’s Muppets are absolutely horrible. Especially with its prime time ABC series The Muppets. And especially when Steve Whitmire got fired from Kermit. And The Henson Family were saying hateful things about Steve Whitmire and supported Disney to fire him.  I hate how Kermit only comes to Sesame Street every 10 years. Ever since 2009 and 2019. I always consider Kermit more of a Sesame Street and Henson character. Not much of a Disney character. There’s been articles about why Disney’s Muppets are terrible and are created by Jim Henson, not Disney. Unfortunately I feel Disney isn’t coming up with ideas for the Muppets and I think has to do with the strike going on right now. I don’t even think Kermit has done anything rather than social media, which means Disney doesn’t know what to do with Kermit. Frank Oz says when Jim Henson at the time of his death, selling his company to Walt Disney Company. Frank Oz states According to an article that has happened in 1990, Henson died suddenly of streptococcal toxic shock syndrome when he was only 53. Someone told Oz I still find it shocking how quickly it happened. “The Disney deal is probably what killed Jim. It made him sick,” Oz replies. At the time of Henson’s death, he was negotiating with Michael Eisner, then the head of Disney, about selling the Muppets. “Eisner was trying to get Sesame Street, too, which Jim wouldn’t allow. But Jim was not a dealer, he was an artist, and it was destroying him, it really was,” says Oz. I think that the Henson family should’ve just told Michael Eisner to buzz off and that they weren’t interested in selling the Muppets to Disney. Or negotiations should’ve happened sooner rather than later in 2004, like perhaps where Jim Henson’s children are super elderly and old. Disney and Henson could have negotiations, where Disney would manage taking over The Jim Henson Company
