Forgive the community

The Issue

On the morning of the day prior to the start of Passover Jewish people around New York City have been burning their Chametz as the Jewish law requires. However, in a very unfurtunate occasion their is someone who we have to apologise to. You most probably saw the video clip that has gone viral how a Jewish Grand Rabbi and Community Leader speaks up for his men that were claimed to have hitten a firefighter, and himself calls out to the firefighter - which seeked the Rabbi's support - that "Likewise they'd do in Nazi Germany". We all sign this petition to show our disagreement to the statement made by the Rabbi, and we ask forgiveness if the firefighter or his team happen to have been insulted, which seems to be the case, physically or emotionally by some members of the Jewish community.
