IMVU has a clear problem with it's game, they allow users to change their names to almost anything, even if it's not allowed. Why would they do this knowing that user is bound to get in trouble sooner or later for having a name they aren't suppose to have, it just doesn't make sense to me. And they have no clear guidelines on what is and what is not allowed in peoples usernames, without going to support first.

I changed my name to Community, thinking it would be taken but it wasn't and when I did change it I assumed it was allowed, but I went to the IMVU Support Chat just to make sure I wasn't breaking any rules/guidelines as I did with my previous name (Rodick). Well I was given some unfortunate news. My name was not allowed because IMVU Staff say "Many users might be confused or might be afraid of your name. Like there's IMVU Staff hanging around on their rooms if you enter some rooms". My name is not to represent IMVU Staff in anyway, shape, or form. It is meant to represent our community of IMVU players, the people of IMVU, without them IMVU wouldn't be possible. My player card has no signs of showing Staff like material nor a Staff Badge in the right corner. The word Community is in many other players names, and the word Community, itself, represents the players of IMVU, not the Staff.

IMVU offered to change my name back to (Rodick), but did not offer me my Name Change Token back, that I bought... What is the point in buying a name change token to change your name, just to be told you can't have the name or your token back? In my book that's called Scam.

Please help me in this fight to keep my name, and have IMVU fix their game mechanics, especially for VIP. It's most certainly appreciated.
