People don’t know if they should adopt from a kill or no-kill shelter. This is because they don’t know if they would rather possibly save a life and promote a kill shelter or possibly make it so a pet gets euthanized but be promoting a no-kill shelter.  “... In most cities in the United States, "adoptable" animals are being killed in shelters,” says the article by Kris Axtman. So this may make it so you can never find the right pet for you because it may have been euthanized for no good reason.  “’... about 733,000 dogs and cats were killed in our nation's animal shelters, simply because they didn't have safe places to call home!" We need to stop kill shelters! This is un fair for the animals. Sure animals may not look or sound the same as us but that doesn't  mean they don't have feelings of there own! This is just the first step to shutting down these shelters and saving many animal's lives. 

This is like if there were children at an orphanage and the people in charge of the orphanage were killing the children just because there is not enough space. If that happened with orphanages then the place doing it would be shut down immediately. But kill shelters still exist and animals are still being killed.
