Animal Action Network (AAN) acknowledges and respects the years of positive animal actions HSUS has initiated and been involved in/with which have resulted in less animal exploitation. That being said, AAN would like to remind organizations, like HSUS, that there is no such thing as “humane meat.” AAN does not support events which promote the killing of innocent animals. It is the responsibility of all “Grass Roots” animal rights organizations to remind all of our peers that there is always a more compassionate and reasonable message that can and should be sent, in order to expedite the end of animal exploitation.
